Boris Smondack is a seasoned engineering and operations leader with over 25 years in the energy and water sector. He has held senior leadership roles with ENGIE in Africa and China, including Chief Operating Officer, and has expertise in renewable energy, desalination, gas power, green hydrogen, and battery storage. 

Currently Head of Engineering and Construction Oversight for ENGIE AMEA, Boris has successfully developed and delivered projects valued at over $3.2 billion, forming innovative solutions, partnerships, and optimized procurement strategies along the way.
